Ce charmant dessin au trait est probablement inspiré d’une gravure de la fin du XVIe siècle ou du début du XVIIe siècle.

Le jeune couple est ici représenté se tenant amoureusement la main dans un paysage avec un point d’eau. Ici le traitement des personnages est plutôt documentaire et est encore loin de l’ironie qui se mettra en place vers le milieu du XVIIe siècle.
