KÉPI DE SOUS-OFFICIER D’ARTILLERIE, DU GÉNIE OU DES SAPEURS-POMPIERS DE PARIS, Modèle 1852, Second Empire

Képi décrit comme « bonnet de police à visière » le 29 avril 1852.

En drap bleu de roi ( hauteur à l’avant 135 mm, hauteur à l’arrière 165 mm ), cordonnets et grenade écarlate ( hauteur de la grenade 35 mm ). La grenade est en fils de coton brodé contrairement au modèle de troupe en drap découpé. Sur la calotte un noeud hongrois est figuré par une soutache écarlate. Visière horizontale rectangulaire en cuir (largeur au centre 42 mm).

Coiffe intérieure en soie noire. Taille 58.

La finition de la grenade et la présence du noeud hongrois permettent d’attribuer ce képi à un sous-officier.

Second Empire (1852-1858).

Bon à très bon état, le noeud hongrois de la calotte est en partie manquant, quelques trous de mites sur le drap, usure d’usage à la broderie de la grenade.
