Robe de Cour à la Française de grand apparat en brocart de soie filé argent – France Circa 1765/1780

Robe de Cour à la française en lampas de soie broché, cannelé et filé argent ou Brocart. Manteau ouvert sur une pièce d’estomac (non issue du même ensemble) et manches trois-quarts à double rangs de volants en pagode. Dos à plis creux dit «à la Watteau». Double parements en falbalas de dentelles au fil d’argent sur le manteau et le panneau visible de la jupe. Riche lampas en décor à la dentelle présentant des bouquets floraux en rivière sur fond taffetas rayé et cannelé à dominante rose, parme, vert et jaune. Doublure du corsage en toile de lin écru avec liens de serrage dans le dos.

Le répertoire décoratif de ce lampas s’éloigne des soies «Bizarre». Il manifeste la transition entre le style Louis XV, baroque et charnu et la géométrie des rayures sous le règne de Louis XVI
