Taffetas chiné à la branche à grand décor Lyon – Nau 1767 pour le Garde meuble Royal

Ensemble exceptionnel de trois lés marouflés en huit mètres linéaires en taffetas de soie chiné à la branche à grand décor fourni par Nau pour le Garde Meuble Royal. Laizes complètes entre 67 et 70 cm de large, ces tentures déposées puis conservées et stabilisées par marouflage, portent une broderie au point de croix indiquant C.1176.4 surmonté d’une couronne, indiquant une provenance prestigieuse dont celle identifiée au Château de Compiègne réalisée pour Madame Victoire. Dessin à grand décor d’orangers, de vase Médicis fleuris et de rubans torsadés alternant dans un camaieu subtil de couleur vert, orange, jaune, marron et jaune.
